Draft Grade — Bears
Overall

FutureB-
The Bears found their guy under center in Williams: B-. Start where it matters. The Bears took Caleb Williams to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.
They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Landing Amegadjie that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick1
Rnd1
Caleb Williams
In No. 1 they get their guy under center for the next decade. A real need, handled.
Pick9
Rnd1
Jared Verse
In pick 9 they get a premier pass rusher at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick75
Rnd3
Kiran Amegadjie
Kiran Amegadjie at pick No. 75 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick122
Rnd4
Beaux Limmer
Beaux Limmer in the Round 4 slot is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
