Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Jude Bowry at pick 89 is 30 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.

The McAlister steal is the beam this whole class leans on. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

They bet on numbers rather than a single high pick.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
