It is the swing that defines the weekend: Trey Zuhn III in slot 176, a good 72 spots before the room expected him. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The Stukes pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with tight end, quarterback and other spots still on the board. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Stukes at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
