You can draft well and still miss the point. The Saints did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to cornerback, which was the need that mattered most. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

They are betting Brown proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They banked enough surplus on Raridon to cover a lot of smaller sins. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
