Draft Grade — Lions

More right than wrong for the Lions, and a B to prove it. Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Lions never addressed offensive lineman, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took McCoy. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick17
Rnd1
Jermod McCoy
In slot 17 they get an island corner at a price that makes it sweeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick50
Rnd2
Dani Dennis-Sutton
Dani Dennis-Sutton in Round 2, Pick 18 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
