Good, not great, for the Broncos: B. Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Broncos never addressed linebacker, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.
The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss. Tight end is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The skill positions did well by the weekend.
The Nick Chubb deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick Analysis
Pick28
Rnd1
Chris Bell
In No. 28 they get a matchup problem out wide. A real need, handled.
Pick62
Rnd2
Eli Stowers
No drama and no debate, Eli Stowers went about where he belonged in the Round 2 slot. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
