More right than wrong for the Vikings, and a B- to prove it.

Nobody else had Eric Gentry anywhere near pick 195. The Vikings did, by 79 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

That Lew pick is the receipt they will wave around later. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Safety is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
