Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B
ValueB- NeedB+ TradesB FutureC+
The Packers cashed the board's mistake on Reed-Adams: B.

Call it larceny. Ar'maj Reed-Adams sat on the board until the 201st overall pick, and the Packers did not need to be asked twice. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The cost of the Overton reach is exactly the players who went right after him. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick52 Rnd2 LT Overton
The board had cheaper options than LT Overton at pick No. 52, and it noticed. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick63 Rnd2 Jadarian Price
They paid sticker price for Jadarian Price in No. 63, and that is fine. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick120 Rnd4 Julian Neal
Julian Neal in the 120th overall pick is fair value, right on his grade. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick131 Rnd4 Will Lee III
Good price on Will Lee III in Round 4, Pick 31, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick153 Rnd5 Tim Keenan III
No edge and no loss on Tim Keenan III in pick 153; it is a wash and a sensible one. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick201 Rnd6 Ar'maj Reed-Adams
Ar'maj Reed-Adams in the Round 6 slot should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick236 Rnd7 Owen Heinecke
Owen Heinecke at the 236th pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick255 Rnd7 Eli Heidenreich
Eli Heidenreich in slot 255 lands just on the right side of the ledger. A need, and now a little less of one.
