The war room fell hard for Malachi Lawrence, and it showed at No. 118: 25 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.

They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it. Getting Pregnon where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
