The real work happened on the phones. The Vikings fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.

The Slaughter steal is the beam this whole class leans on. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

Reaching for Elliott left real value on the table behind him. The Vikings paired the rookies with proven help, Christian Gonzalez leading the way.
