After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Raiders committed. Fernando Mendoza is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C-.

They banked enough surplus on Cameron to cover a lot of smaller sins. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. If Cooper Jr. pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
