You can hear the double-takes from here. The Dolphins took Roman Hemby at pick 227, roughly 41 spots before his name belonged. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Neal pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, wide receiver and other spots still on the board.

The Scott pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
