The Panthers clearly saw something nobody else did in Malachi Lawrence, taking him 18 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. On value alone, Cisse makes the weekend a net positive.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
