The Titans got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C-.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Titans took Diego Pavia a full 32 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. However the rest shakes out, Reese at that price is a win they earned.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

If Arvell Reese and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.

Jeremiyah Love at Round 1, Pick 7 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick32 Rnd1 Arvell Reese
In the Round 1 slot they get a sideline-to-sideline linebacker, outstanding value to boot. A clean fit for the roster.

They did well to land Matayo Uiagalelei in slot 33, just ahead of his grade. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.

A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Jake Slaughter. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.

They took Colton Hood at par in pick No. 65, which is nothing to complain about. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.

Nic Anderson in the 144th overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.

No edge and no loss on DJ Campbell in the Round 6 slot; it is a wash and a sensible one. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.

A big swing on Diego Pavia at pick No. 215, well ahead of any board in the building. The roster fit checks out.
