The church was DRAFTING FOR THEGiants
Draft Grade — Giants
Overall
B-
ValueB-

FutureB-
A solid, sensible weekend for the Giants: B-. Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Giants never addressed interior defensive lineman, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.
However the rest shakes out, Daniels at that price is a win they earned. On the needs board they went 2 of 9, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. The skill positions did well by the weekend.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick Analysis
Pick5
Rnd1
Carnell Tate
No edge and no loss on Carnell Tate in No. 5; it is a wash and a sensible one. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick37
Rnd2
Sonny Styles
They paid sticker price for Sonny Styles in the 37th pick, and that is fine. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick105
Rnd4
D'Angelo Ponds
They took D'Angelo Ponds at par in the 105th overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick144
Rnd5
CJ Daniels
They let CJ Daniels come to them and pounced at the Round 5 slot. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
