The Texans cashed the board's mistake on Singleton: B+.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Texans were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.

Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They are betting Halton proves the room right and everyone else wrong. However the rest shakes out, Singleton at that price is a win they earned.

Adding Josh Simmons by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
