Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Kaleb Elarms-Orr got past him. The Cowboys do not have to explain a thing at slot 218. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Cowboys paired the rookies with proven help, Jordyn Brooks leading the way.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
