Klare should have been long gone. The Broncos pounced, and earned a B.

The Broncos ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The Klare value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

The veteran additions, Kyle Pitts chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
