The board owed the Steelers one, and it paid up: Keionte Scott, the No. 66 name on the board, sitting there at No. 99 like a gift left on the doorstep. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Schrauth pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
