Draft Grade — Buccaneers

A respectable, level-headed haul for the Buccaneers: B-. Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Buccaneers never addressed interior defensive lineman, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
They banked enough surplus on Banks to cover a lot of smaller sins. They left with tight end solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
Pick Analysis
Pick15
Rnd1
Arvell Reese
In No. 15 they get a downhill thumper at linebacker. Need was not the driver here.
Pick46
Rnd2
Caleb Banks
Caleb Banks slid further than he should have, and pick 46 is lovely value for the edge rusher. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick77
Rnd3
Max Klare
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Max Klare at the Round 3 slot is the proof. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
