FOXY KNOXY DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall

Good, not great, for the Seahawks: B-. The tape said wait; the Seahawks did not. Malachi Lawrence went at No. 96, a good 47 picks before the board was ready. The bottom line is a respectable B-.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Colton Hood
In Round 1, Pick 32 they get a potential shutdown corner. More want than need.
Pick64
Rnd2
Brian Parker II
Brian Parker II in pick No. 64 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick96
Rnd3
Malachi Lawrence
A big swing on Malachi Lawrence at the 96th pick, well ahead of any board in the building. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick211
Rnd6
Trey Zuhn III
Trey Zuhn III in No. 211 is fair value, right on his grade. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
