The Rams checked most of the boxes and earned a B. It is the swing that defines the weekend: Eric Gentry in pick 205, a good 63 spots before the room expected him. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
The Thieneman value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.
With interior defensive lineman unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
