The Bears let Lew fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

When a board-topper like Connor Lew slides to Round 3, Pick 25, you do not overthink it, and the Bears did not. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom. The dealing was even money, start to finish.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
