The Seahawks looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Eric Gentry at slot 253 regardless, 103 picks early. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

However the rest shakes out, Trotter at that price is a win they earned. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Spending an early pick on cornerback with quarterback, tight end and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
