Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB TradesB FutureC+
Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Seahawks.

Nobody had Trinidad Chambliss this high, and it is not close. The Seahawks reached 65 spots to get him at the 124th overall pick. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

The Reese pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

Pick Analysis
Pick32 Rnd1 Arvell Reese
In Round 1, Pick 32 they get a downhill thumper at linebacker, and a steal at that. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick64 Rnd2 Daylen Everette
A market-rate cornerback, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Daylen Everette. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick96 Rnd3 Zachariah Branch
A big swing on Zachariah Branch at slot 96, well ahead of any board in the building. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick124 Rnd4 Trinidad Chambliss
Trinidad Chambliss at pick 124 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick162 Rnd5 Davison Igbinosun
Davison Igbinosun at the 162nd overall pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
Pick213 Rnd6 Evan Stewart
They did well to land Evan Stewart in the Round 6 slot, just ahead of his grade. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
