A weekend that raised as many questions as it answered. The Seahawks get a C+.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Seahawks took Hezekiah Masses a full 40 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Call it a C+ and check back in two years.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. They went 2 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The back end got a real overhaul.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.

In pick No. 32 they get a rangy last line of defense. Need was not the driver here.
