Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Colts spent slot 252 on Kain Medrano, a name most had 83 spots down the list.

The Loveland pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The Porter pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher still on the board.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
