The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Cowboys reached some 67 spots for Patrick Payton, and value like that does not grow back.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. However the rest shakes out, Scott at that price is a win they earned.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
