The Wesley Williams selection is the head-turner. The Bears reached 74 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. The bottom line is a respectable B.

A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Reese. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
