Draft Grade — Jaguars

TradesB-
FutureB-
Larceny in the 240th overall pick lands the Jaguars a B, Bentley and all. This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Dallen Bentley, the No. 207 name on the board, stolen at the Round 7 slot. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Every board in the league had Anthony Jr. lower, and that gap is the story.
On the needs board they went 8 of 9, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick56
Rnd2
Lee Hunter
Lee Hunter at the 56th overall pick is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the interior defensive lineman. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick81
Rnd3
Kamari Ramsey
Kamari Ramsey at Round 3, Pick 17 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick88
Rnd3
Treydan Stukes
The board had Treydan Stukes higher than the Round 3 slot, and the cornerback fell to them anyway. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick100
Rnd3
Devin Moore
Devin Moore in the 100th pick lands just on the right side of the ledger. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick124
Rnd4
Carson Beck
They did well to land Carson Beck in pick No. 124, just ahead of his grade. It fills a real need, too.
Pick164
Rnd5
Dametrious Crownover
Circle this one: Dametrious Crownover at No. 164 is a fall that decides a draft. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick166
Rnd5
Malik Benson
They barely believed it either: Malik Benson still on the board at slot 166. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick203
Rnd6
Kaleb Elarms-Orr
They robbed the room for Kaleb Elarms-Orr here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick233
Rnd7
Vincent Anthony Jr.
A reach for Vincent Anthony Jr. in slot 233; a little patience would have been rewarded. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick240
Rnd7
Dallen Bentley
Steal is underselling it; Dallen Bentley at pick No. 240 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. The roster fit checks out.
Pick245
Rnd7
Harrison Wallace III
A top-tier wide receiver at a bargain, Harrison Wallace III in No. 245, plain and simple. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
