Somebody in pick No. 224 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Steelers sat still while Cade Klubnik, the No. 141 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The Cruz Jr. reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They went 7 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
