Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Lions.

The Lions went off the board in a big way for CJ Donaldson, 91 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Getting Roberts where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
