This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Jake Slaughter, the No. 43 name on the board, stolen at the 66th pick. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
