Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Eagles.

The Eagles did not so much draft Boubacar Traore as overpay for him, 33 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Landing Fitzgerald that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

Pick Analysis
Pick25 Rnd1 Joshua Josephs
In slot 25 they get a double-digit-sack hope, though they paid up to get him. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick58 Rnd2 Elijah Sarratt
A quiet steal in the 58th overall pick: Elijah Sarratt for less than the market said. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick69 Rnd3 Anthony Lucas
A big swing on Anthony Lucas at No. 69, well ahead of any board in the building. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick98 Rnd3 Boubacar Traore
Boubacar Traore in the Round 3 slot is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick126 Rnd4 Bishop Fitzgerald
The board had Bishop Fitzgerald higher than pick No. 126, and the safety fell to them anyway. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick137 Rnd4 Chase Bisontis
A tidy bit of business in pick 137, where Chase Bisontis graded well above the range. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick150 Rnd5 Justin Joly
Nothing to complain about; Justin Joly went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick180 Rnd5 Max Iheanachor
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Max Iheanachor at slot 180. It fills a real need, too.
Pick207 Rnd6 Josh Moten
Josh Moten in pick 207 is fair value, right on his grade. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
