A sensible, unshowy class lands the Rams a B-.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Rams reached some 49 spots for Pat Coogan, and value like that does not grow back.

The Daniels pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. They will answer for taking cornerback early while tight end and edge rusher went begging.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
