Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall

FutureA+
The Ravens let Lew fall and pounced. Final grade: D+. The rest of the league had time to spare on Carson Beck; the Ravens did not wait, grabbing him 43 spots ahead at the 45th overall pick. Too much went sideways, and the D+ is the honest tally.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The Lew pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
The Ravens paired the rookies with proven help, Quinnen Williams leading the way.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
Pick Analysis
Pick12
Rnd1
Carnell Tate
In the Round 1 slot they get a matchup problem out wide. A real need, handled.
Pick16
Rnd1
Olaivavega Ioane
They jumped the gun on Olaivavega Ioane, taking him earlier than his grade liked. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick20
Rnd1
Kayden McDonald
In pick No. 20 they get a wrecking ball inside at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick28
Rnd1
Colton Hood
In No. 28 they get a ballhawk on the outside. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick33
Rnd2
Romello Height
They paid a round early for Romello Height in the 33rd pick, more than the board wanted. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick40
Rnd2
Jadarian Price
Jadarian Price in No. 40 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick45
Rnd2
Carson Beck
Carson Beck at slot 45 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick80
Rnd3
Isaiah World
Good price on Isaiah World in pick No. 80, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick115
Rnd4
Connor Lew
Steal is underselling it; Connor Lew at Round 4, Pick 15 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
