The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Ravens reached some 50 spots for Jeff Caldwell, and value like that does not grow back.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
