The Steelers robbed the room for Coleman. Final grade: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Steelers were there to profit. Jonah Coleman, the No. 70 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 99th overall pick. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

The World pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback, edge rusher and other spots. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

In the 21st pick they get a downhill thumper at linebacker, and a steal at that. A real need, handled.
Pick53 Rnd2 Emmanuel McNeil-Warren
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren slid further than he should have, and pick No. 53 is lovely value for the safety. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick76 Rnd3 Ja'Kobi Lane
Ja'Kobi Lane in Round 3, Pick 12 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
