Wagner should have been long gone. The Rams pounced, and earned a D-.

The phones were a trap the Rams kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

Reaching for Brown left real value on the table behind him. The safety hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Wagner pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, safety very much included.

In slot 17 they get a press-man option on the boundary, and a steal at that. More want than need.
Pick29 Rnd1 Arvell Reese
In the Round 1 slot they get the heartbeat of the defense, outstanding value to boot. Need was not the driver here.

No edge and no loss on KC Concepcion in pick No. 35; it is a wash and a sensible one. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.

Connor Lew at Round 2, Pick 29 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
