Some picks age like wine; Keaten Wade at Round 6, Pick 30 will need to, sitting 70 spots clear of his grade.

The whole projection now runs through Fernando Mendoza; hit there and everything else looks smarter. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

The Branch pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The Jets indulged a want in Allen while a need in safety, interior defensive lineman and other spots stayed open.

That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
