The Patriots let McCoy fall and pounced. Final grade: B+.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Patriots watched Jermod McCoy slide 189 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered. They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
