The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named cornerback, a need the Eagles walked right past. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They will need Mesidor to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

On the needs board they went 7 of 9, with edge rusher the one that mattered most. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
