Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall D
ValueB NeedB TradesF FutureB-
Best value of the weekend goes to the Eagles for Muhammad: D.

The phones were a trap the Eagles kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Muhammad. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.

Pick Analysis
Pick23 Rnd1 Kenyon Sadiq
In the 23rd overall pick they get a mismatch in the passing game. A real need, handled.
Pick54 Rnd2 Elijah Sarratt
Fair-plus on Elijah Sarratt, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick62 Rnd2 Lee Hunter
They took Lee Hunter at par in the Round 2 slot, which is nothing to complain about. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick68 Rnd3 A.J. Haulcy
Nice patience on A.J. Haulcy, who had no business lasting to No. 68. The roster fit checks out.
Pick94 Rnd3 Malik Muhammad
The board fumbled Malik Muhammad all the way to slot 94, and they scooped it up. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick98 Rnd3 Caden Curry
Caden Curry in pick 98 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick122 Rnd4 Chase Bisontis
A slide stopped in pick No. 122, with Chase Bisontis worth more than the price. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick137 Rnd4 Max Iheanachor
Max Iheanachor at No. 137 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick151 Rnd5 Tanner Koziol
Tanner Koziol at Round 5, Pick 13 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the tight end. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick179 Rnd5 Pat Coogan
Nothing to complain about; Pat Coogan went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick201 Rnd6 Jalon Daniels
A quiet steal in the Round 6 slot: Jalon Daniels for less than the market said. A need, and now a little less of one.
