The Eagles lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story. The phones were a trap the Eagles kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.
They will need Broughton to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Ransom at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
