The Eagles cashed the board's mistake on Gulbin: D.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Eagles did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Every board in the league had Coleman Jr. lower, and that gap is the story. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Gulbin.

They went 8 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
