The Seahawks clearly saw something nobody else did in Malachi Lawrence, taking him 35 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The McAlister steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

It is not that Masses is a bad player; it is that the Seahawks had louder needs to answer first.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
