The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Saints watched Domani Jackson slide 20 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Mesidor has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
