Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Dolphins spent the 75th pick on Diego Pavia, a name most had 23 spots down the list.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Abney II.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
