The steal of the weekend belongs to the Panthers and Manning: B.

Call it larceny. Arch Manning sat on the board until pick No. 76, and the Panthers did not need to be asked twice. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. The cost of the Jones reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The back end got a real overhaul.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
