The Panthers went off the board in a big way for Bryce Foster, 44 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. The Hood pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. On the needs board they went 7 of 9, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.
